Design and development of a next generation EGM platform

Business Issue
Main customer’s drivers for the investment into the new EGM (electronic game machine) platform were cost reduction, consolidation and standardization and support for the latest required protocols. The customer has decided to modernize their existing platform to support all current gaming technologies and prepare the platform for the next few years.

The Solution
HERMES SoftLab was responsible for the whole EGM software development Life-cycle process, including requirements definition, architecture and design, development and testing, as well as the project management of involved parties. Final integration and system test that include also development of automated regression test suite was also performed at HSL.
